Teams race against each other to return all of their bean bags back to the starting line.

Setup
Place colored cones for each team at one end of the game area. This game works well as an Awana game as you can use cones and bean bags that are red, blue, green, and yellow. Mix up colored five bean bags of each color and place them at the other end of the game area. If you are playing in a gym, you can place the bean bags at half court for younger kids or at the opposite free-throw line for older kids.
How to play Bean Bag Grab
Line up each team at their colored cones. There should be five players playing for each team during each round. When the whistle blows, one player from each team runs across the gym and gets one of their colored bean bags. They return the bean bag to their team, and then they sit down. The next person in line for their team goes and gets the next bean bag. This continues until the team has retrieved all of their bean bags. The first team to have all of their colored bean bags and is sitting down is the winner. You can also award points for first, second, and third place of each round.
