How to play Amoeba Tag
The game begins with two people being the taggers or “it.” They start by holding hands and chasing the others without letting go of the other’s hand. Once a person is tagged, they join hands with the taggers and become part of the amoeba. The amoeba continues to chase the others until no one is left.
Variations
- You can play until there are only two people left. The final two win the game and become the taggers for the next round.
- The amoeba can split at any time into smaller amoebas as long as there are at least two people in the split-off or the remaining amoeba.
